Coming from Western NY, I knew right away that Holly Springs was the perfect place for me. I loved everything about North Carolina – the food, the beaches, the mountains, the weather, but mostly the people. Nothing stands out more than when you walk into a new place and feel at home and welcomed. Surprisingly, everywhere I turned I was meeting people from the Buffalo area. We all knew we were home.
I have been rooted long enough to actually be an Ambassador for our fine State! I travel all over and have many favorite areas across our region, but my favorite place to relax is with my toes in the sand at any of our state’s beautiful beaches. Plus, I married a native North Carrollian – my husband was born and raised in Gastonia, NC and went to school here at UNC – so I’m convinced that gives me bonus points! We are proud to say we raised our son here and gave him all the fun and found memories this area has to offer. There’s no end in sight for the number of activities for kids and our beautiful weather helps make it even better.
I am passionate about my community and helping not just individuals with their mortgage, but also helping small businesses succeed. As an active and engaged resident, I sit on the Board of Directors for the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce and chair their events committee. I have been voted Volunteer of the Year, Business Leader of the Year, Mortgage Lender of the Year, and I co-founded one of the largest networking groups in Southern Wake County.
